Leader Training Scholarship: Desire Essay Contest
FOR JUNE TRAINING Workshop Mon, June 8th - Thurs, June 11th
If you really really want it...we really really want you! The Desire Essay Contest is an opportunity to move beyond the classroom. The winner will receive a $1,500 Sati Life Leader Training Scholarship to our June training.
Deadline:The deadline for entries is May 25, 2009.
Entries received after May 25, 2009 will be disqualified. The winners will be notified on June 1st, 2009.
Essays must be written in response to one of two questions:
1. What has been your greatest experience 'leading the way'?
Part 2: What would you like to do with your certification, once you are a certified intenSati Leader?
2. How has intenSati influenced your life? Tell us about adjustments you have created in your life and how that has affected those around you? Part 2: What would you like to do with your certification, once you are a certified intenSati Leader?
Only original, unpublished essays will be accepted. Any writing found to be anything other than an original work of the applicant will be disqualified. Please see Official Rules for more information.
Official Rules
How to Enter:
1. Your entry must be a response, in essay form, to one of the previous questions.
2. Please submit a well-written response that addresses why attending leader training is important to you. Please also tell us where you found out about the scholarship.
3. You must also submit a completed leader training application. Download it here.
Eligibility:
The Desire Essay Contest is open to all United States citizens. Applicants must hold certification in group fitness or yoga. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Entries do not carry over to subsequent contests, but applicants are welcome to submit future entries if their essay is not chosen. Once an applicant has won, they are no longer eligible for future Scholarships.com essay scholarships. All submissions from past winners will be automatically disqualified and discarded.
Submission Method:
All submissions must be entered by email, in a Microsoft Word document attachment. The subject of the email should be "Desire Contest". The essay must be no less than 100 words and no more than 250 words.
Your entry must contain your full (first, middle and last) name, complete home address including zip code, home telephone number with area code, date of birth, and email address.

Sati Life reserves the right to terminate this promotion by giving notice as deemed appropriate to Sponsor, on this Web site.
Limitation of Liability:
Sati Life is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical error, or human error which may occur in the processing of entries and submissions. Sati Life assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or alteration of entries. Scholarships.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Desire Essay Scholarship, in whole or in part, at any time.
Selection of the Winner:
One Winner will be selected from among all eligible entries and notified on June 1st and announced on June 3rd. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries submitted and the quality of each entry. The decisions of judges are final. The Winner will be notified via email. If Sponsor does not receive a reply to the Winner notification announcement sent by email within fourteen (14) days from the date sent, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate Winner will be selected from among the remaining eligible entries. Unless prohibited by law, the Winner will be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and a publicity/liability release within two (2) weeks of responding to the notification. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use Winner's name, city, state, likeness and/or voice for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity without additional compensation. Prize award materials and information will be sent to the Winner after all required proof and documentation is received.
Terms & Conditions:
By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final. All applicable federal, provincial, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
Except where prohibited by law, participation constitutes the Winner's consent to Sponsor's use of their names, city and state of residence and entry for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes in any media, online or offline, without further permission, consent, payment or other consideration, unless prohibited by law. If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and to award the Grand Prize from among all eligible entries received prior to the date of termination. Sponsor reserves the right to amend or modify the terms & conditions at any time during the Promotion.
